Holiday Mail For Heroes

This year as I plan my Christmas cards, I'm making and collecting a batch to send to American service men and women through the Red Cross Holiday Mail for Heroes program. If you're sending out cards, I urge you to send them at least one.

In the coming days, I'll post ideas for making Christmas Cards and instructions.

Cousins

I made this scrapbook layout of me, my sister Teri and my cousin Lisa. We have all gone on to take other last names, but we are still family.

Cousins 2

I used Route 66 paper, Homestead Alphabet stamps for the names, Doodle Alphabet for the other words and little birds.

Old Guys Rock!

For my husband's birthday he got a special treat. We went to a work party and he got to play a song with the band. He was amazing. It was kind of like when Michael J. Fox plays that song with the 50s band during 'Back to The Future'.

Rock Star

I am really proud of him.

Happy Birthday Tim

Here's a birthday card I made for my husband for his 49th. It's a Tri-fold card made using scraps from 'It's a Guy Thing' paper pack.

I cut a piece of olive cardstock to 8 1/2 X 12" then folded it into 3 4"x81/2" sections.

The front also uses 4 garden green brads and brackets from the Dazzling Diecuts package.

On the inside flap, I used letters from Dazzling Diecuts and three more garden green brads.

This is the back of the card.

The inside unfolds to this baloon bouquet. This was made with carstock baloons cut on a sizzix machine mixed with cutouts from the Guy Thing paper. I also used rub ons.

Tim really liked the card, so it was worth the work.
