This layout, made for the cover page of my 2010 Album was made using the new Wings Level 2 paper pack. This is linked to a blog hop with artwork featuring products from the new Close To My Heart idea book. The large butterflies are from the January Stamp of the month Find Your Style. I have a few extra stamp sets, contact me if you missed it in January and would like to buy one.

Kraft Color-Ready Borders

One of the neatest items in the New Spring Summer Close To My Heart Idea Book is the Kraft Color-Ready Borders. There are 50 in a package for just $5.95. These have self stick backing, 25 different designs and can be used as is or colored with inks or paint to match your page. This video shows you more ideas! Back Country Magic Layout

I love our new "Magic" design guide! I used the same pattern (Mesmerize) that Melanie did in the video showing her Christmas layout. When I made the layout using Close To My Heart's Back Country paper and some pictures from a trip to Alaska I got a completely different look. These patterns are very versatile. In the Magic book, each pattern shows a layout that you can use like I did, and tips and techniques to make interactive pages, like Melanie did.

How to use our new spray pens

This video gives a nice instruction on how to use Close to My Heart's new spray pens. These are a lot of fun. You can mix reinker with water for added color, or include create a shade pearl paint for glimmer. You get one spray pen included in the Wings Workshop Kit and after February 1 you can buy a three pack for just $3.95

Ally's 12th Birthday

This is my layout from the Wing's Kit. I used photos from Ally's 12th birthday which went perfectly with the paper!

This project uses a new spraypen technique which was a lot of fun.
